College Ave.
Here's a photo I took last October driving down College Avenue. This particular shot is on the corner of College and Prospect, right near campus. I thought it was beautiful with all of the snow on the trees. However, beware of College Ave. It is the main street through town and if you want to get anywhere fast, TAKE SIDE STREETS, find shortcut, try to avoid college. It gets pretty busy during the day, especially during rush hour. But on this particular day, it made for a very nice drive. :)

Red Rocks
Something you must experience, even if just visiting the area, is Red Rocks Amphitheater. Not only do they have AMAZING concerts, but the place is surrounded by hundreds of acres of nature and wildlife. It doesn't get much better than Red Rocks when it comes to outdoor fun. One of the coolest things about Red Rocks (besides the concerts) is that it was naturally formed! It's crazy to think that it was formed by mother nature herself, with no help from man. It's just outside Denver, so not all that far away from CSU's campus.
Here's some more information on the gorgeous venue that is Red Rocks:

CSU Secrets and Tips
I just found this page that explains some of the secrets of Colorado State University. The one I find most intriguing is the last one on the page. I'm going to have to go check out that building when I move back there...

Here are some pointers from a person who has attended CSU. Most of these are common sense and not specific to Colorado State University, but I still felt I should share with you because it makes some very good points! Following these tips will make your experience at CSU (or whatever college you choose to attend) much more enjoyable!

Mascot
CSU's mascot was initially the Aggies. They then adopted the Rocky Mountain bighorn ram as the mascot. His name was "CAM", short for Colorado A&M. Although CSU is now represented by the rams, you can still buy Aggie gear and represent the agricultural heritage of the school.
