My Choice

For me, the choice was really easy. I have been visiting Fort Collins, CO for almost my entire life and have always loved the area. Being an outdoor person, the opportunity for activity was a huge aspect of my decision. Having family in the area didn't hurt either. Wanting to be a livestock veterinarian, the animal science department definitely attracted me, as well as the world-renowned veterinary school. All in all, CSU just felt like the right fit. It felt like all of the pieces were there. The moment I set foot on that campus, I felt like part of a community, something I haven't felt in a very long time.
